Compositions Commissioned by the Community Foundation

Since 2014, the Foundation has commissioned six compositions created by young composers* funded by grants from the Foundation’s Community Awareness Fund and the TST Fund for Cultural Projects (a donor-advised fund).

*Each composer was an attendee of the Fresh Inc Music Festival, organized and led members of by the Fifth House Ensemble, and held each June at the UW-Parkside.

Commission made in 2020: a new work (now in development) by Becky Turro.
