The Kenosha Community Foundation, founded in 1926, is a community foundation serving all of Kenosha County. A tax-exempt public charity, the Foundation is a collection of endowed and donor-advised philanthropic funds established by individuals, families, organizations, and companies.
We offer numerous charitable vehicles for donors with diverse philanthropic interests. The Foundation is a convenient and flexible way to make charitable contributions, often guaranteeing a lasting impact. We provide perpetual fund maintenance and oversight, ensuring that fund income will be managed and distributed in accordance with the intentions of the donors.
The Foundation pools assets in investment portfolios to maximize fund growth. Local accountability is provided by volunteer community leaders who serve as the Board of Directors. The Foundation also benefits from volunteer leadership throughout its structure of committees and subcommittees.
