POWER OF A PURSE

The Women's Fund "Power of a Purse" fundraising event:

The "Power of a Purse" is an evening of fun, fellowship…and purses. The sale of purses – designer, conceptual art, hand-crafted and others filled with "surprises" – are the highlight of the festivities. Cocktails, including a wine bar, food by local chefs, live entertainment and other surprises are planned.

Tickets are $35 per person.

Background on the Women's Fund

The Women's Fund supports programs and organizations that create opportunities for women and children through direct grant and responsive philanthropy.

The fund was started by a group of Kenosha women who are dedicated to improving the well being and quality of life of women and children in Kenosha County.

The fund is open to receiving tax deductible contributions of any amount throughout the year.

Since 1998, the Women's Fund has distributed nearly $50,000 in grants to the community
