In March, the Foundation awarded $3,000 ($1,000 each) to Hawthorne Hollow (through the Hyslop Foundation), the Kenosha Public Library, and the Center for Collaborative Research from the newest competitive grant making program – Creativity by Kids* (CBK) Small Grant program. (*Of all ages.)
In addition to the three CBK grants, thanks to a group of generous donors, a fourth grant program applicant, Lemon Street Gallery and ArtSpace, received a $1,000 gift.
In June, the Foundation awarded grants totaling $55,960 to 12 Kenosha County not-for-profit organizations and projects from the income earned by the Foundation’s pool of Unrestricted Endowment Funds.
